What a useless piece of st this car is.

20 year old Imprezas that cost about 2k could spank it, not to mention even the earlier liberty RS's, and this car would know which way they went.

I cant believe you boys are getting moist about some 2013 car that still hasn't made it into the 90's...
Emissions.

That's why Subaru are selling so many cars in the UK ... oh, wait....

You could pay Mountune to up the power to around that I'd have thought, and you wouldn't own a Peugeot at the end of it.
But you'd own a Ford???

So a friend picked up his Spirit Blue yesterday and he is over the moon with it. He says it feels so poised at every speed and is plenty quick enough.

I've not been in it yet but it looks great in the flesh. I pick mine up on Friday and I cannot wait!

I'll start a Reader's Car thread when I've got access to a computer but I picked my Fiesta ST on Friday.

Done about 500 miles since and I've been grinning for everyone of them. It really is such a fun car and whilst it isn't the quickest car, you put your foot down for a second and look down at the speedo only to be shocked at how quickly you're going (especially in a Fiesta).

It really comes to life in the corners though, handles like a go-kart on steroids and feels so poised all the time.

I can tell I'm going to get on with this car very well indeed!

These are going to sell very well and will definitely be on my radar as a daily driver in the future. Broadspeed are already offering new ST1's for £15,734 or ST2's for £16,642.

Ive got one on the way, went for Molten Orange with matching orange and black recaros.
Been waiting a loooooooong time for it but should only be a week or so now.

Getting ever so slightly excited now that others are dropping in at dealerships around the country.

You didn't happen to order your car with a spare wheel and could tell me the wheel and tyre size by any chance?

Mine has the mini spare wheel which is 15" x 4". The other spare wheel is 14" x 5.5". If you need more precise info, you'll have to let me check it out later.

Thanks, if you could please. I'l like to know the tyre size for both. Hoping I can keep the 14" spare from my Zetec S but was aware the ST came with a 15" spare and thought that might be to fit over larger discs. What do you mean when you say "the other spare is 14"? That's not an option for the ST is it?

But in the Sunday Times paper copy at the weekend he gave it 4 out of 5 I think.

I stand corrected, it is currently showing as an available option in the price list on the Ford website but I have just double checked and it is only the mini spare wheel that is available.

Won't be able to check until tonight but I'll let you know.

The start of that post was poor...then just went a bit weird with this last bit..
hehe

He seems to be a bit of a Subaru/Lexus fan boy and anything that isn't either of those is st.
Or he's trolling? smile

It now seems to be getting some good reviews from the press.

Ford seem to have hit the spot with this one.

While Renaultsport seem to have lost the plot with the Clio.

Nice. I'm starting to get a little tempted, at least to have a test drive. Ali - I notice you've a Z4 Coupe too - are you swapping for the Fiesta, or is it an extra car? I'm in a similar boat (have Z4 Coupe) and am thinking I need something more practical that the missus will drive, and with fond memories of my Mini Cooper, I'm thinking about a hot hatch. I'll be interested to see how you get on with it and whether you miss the Z4!

Apologies mate, this week ended up being a bit hectic.

The spare wheel tyre size is T125/80R15.
