My son and I were lucky enough to take a passenger ride (separately of course!)in an F40 at dads day out round the top gear test track...That memory will stay with us forever... My absolute favourite car.The sound was just awesome with the turbos coming on and off boost... Thank you F40 MHR

I also remember the Fast Lane Cassette vividly, the calmness of Hales voice whilst he's playing with what I think is still the best car ever made, the F40.
The Lister Jaguar was also pretty nice to listen too, I think someone should turn it into a CD.

I found the copy of Fast Lane magazine with the cassette in it in my attic the other month and it bought back so many memories !!!! Yes. The F40 is THE car. No contest.

JEEEZ!!!
I saw these two in the flesh at my local petrol station about 5 miles from Anglesey circuit!! I drove past with the Mrs... "oh look a Ferrari" i said...
As we get closer... "oh s**t, it's an F40"... i said as the 10 yr old in me starts to emerge!
"oh, very nice" she said.... "AND an F50?!?!?" was my reply, as we were just passing the station!
about 300 yards down the road, a quick 3 point turn to go back to see the cars once again! At this point the Mrs was totally un-amused as we were late getting to wherever we needed to be. For the rest of the journey, I was to lecture her on the brilliance and value of both cars and how only a handful of people have actually seen these 2 cars ON THE ROAD, together.
That my friends, was a good day!
