For me alot of these YouTube channels and persona's that they portray are all pretty much the same and equally cringe-worthy. Not taking away anything from their success as they're all clearly doing very well both financially and in terms of popularity. I'm simply judging from their content that they put out.

Supercars Of London and Shmee150 in particular i just cannot watch anymore. It just all seems so fake and put-on. Nice couple of lads i'm sure but the videos make me die inside.

Seen Though Glass i don't mind; although i only watch certain videos he makes admittedly. His humor and love for cars and his delivery all seems very natural and quite entertaining.

The 2 main channels i watch are JamieFYD (not sure if that's the name) and DedicationBlog. Just a couple of normal lads who review cars and do road trips and just film it for the fun of it. Good content and a good laugh and nothing too serious. My idea of entertainment.

Shmee has indeed done a video on how he affords the cars. Not that he went into detail tbh.
TBH I don't blame him, not our business really. I can understand people being a bit peeved about their message in their vids though, often very much look at me, look at me, look at me, here is a car, look at me... etc

I still watch smile
That's the funny thing, he irritates me, but I still watch some of his videos tongue out

His dad is on here and it's not difficult to work out his dad's full name and location and therefore be able connect him with some decently sized businesses so whether or not he made his own money is still in doubt for me. I used to like Shmee's videos but when he features in other people's videos, he just comes across as "I'm the youtube car king/celebrity" which is very irritating. He also seems to mention how much his cars are going up in value every other video these days and I suspect, right now, he probably doesn't have to make much on the youtube videos because now he has the connections, he can buy the cars which increase in value (675LT: +£100k, GT4: +£30k, 675LTS: +£100k), and that alone is a decent salary.

your other comment is clearly wrong too as SOL clearly managed it without significant financial backing
Lots of 20 somethings could afford £100K cars if they decide to stay living at home.

Try Dedication Blog. Decent chap who doesn't BS about how he's afforded his cars (through his own earned money) and quite informative.
This, he's a good bloke. And knows a lot about cars, as you see in the videos he's working on his own garage. Very interesting stuff.

I wouldn't go that far, he's only started spannering recently but pretty sure he can now do a lot more than most people with respect to mechanics

He tends to make digs at shmee and views indirectly which is pretty amusing. Not seen videos for him in a while, must check it out again actually

Watched a few of these videos and concluded that -

A. I am getting old.

B. I want a super car about as much as I want a dog semen mouthwash.

C. Todays 'youth' is incredibly annoying.

I watch them 'all' too, mostly out of boredom but sometimes out of genuine interest...JWW and Salomondrin..

I noted though that Pistonheads didn't get to drive the new Abarth 124...but Schmee did..? and he was almost first in 'reviewing' (or at least describing the colour, stitching and 'fun' style of the Alfa Guilia...what's with that... wish I had THOSE kind of connections!

Really? Odd then this is how he describes himself on you tube:
'"Mobile-friendly - I'm just a 19-year-old Monaco-based adventure seeker and YouTube influencer that drives a Lotus Elise Club Racer ..."

Seb Delaney, the one who says MOR----NING on every f**king video.
Seb, the most cringe inducing of the lot, however, I watch his channel now and again and find myself wondering why I’m watching this lump of sickly lard turned shaped into a blog about absolutely nothing.

In one particular video I was watching up popped Seb looking a mess ‘Morrninggg, Its 11am and I’m making a hot chicken sandwich (cue to view chicken frying). This is my usual routine, I get out of bed around 10 am, check emails then make brunch’, (cue to chicken frying), I must do something with my hair.

I then watch him munch his sarnie awaiting some chums turn up to wash cars. After a car wash, where one chum drops the sponge on the floor, picks it up and dirty side down continues to wash the car, they sit in a circle and talk rubbish. – end of video, please view, it’s a classic.

I like it when they, somehow, all see each other at some meet at a garage. Shmee, Seb and super grinny cars of London, yup they all make me sick but yet it’s compelling viewing. Probably due to the fact that here on screen you can bear witness to the fact that you can produce talentless dross if you have money as money gives you time to do crap.

Do you think all these 'friends' would help you out in times of trouble (spare room perhaps) if you were penniless with no supercars?
