Not sure about this. The NISMO may be faster but I'm not convinced it's a better car for UK roads. Plus the standard 370z looks good but the NISMO has too many additional skirts and spoilers. All IMHO of course.
Personally, I tend to agree with what you say, but in general terms (bearing in mind the market, especially for "classic" cars is both stupid and doesn't consider the practicalities of things) the NISMO one, being faster, more expensive and blingier is the "better" one. Having said all that, I can't imagine they've sold many more than say 4 NISMOs so the effect wouldn't be all that significant.

If we're looking ahead as far as 40 years into the future, chances are everyone might be driving electric / self driving cars anyway and it will be difficult and/or expensive to put fuel into them anyway, or even, potentially, find someone qualified to actually drive it. Hence the only real classics will be the totally original, mint ones that end up in museums! biggrin

Jeez, you're a ray of sunshine. Those one-liner, sarcastic posts (your MO) are not tremendously helpful.
<shrug> They only come out when and where they're truly warranted.

I think the NISMO is the better looking car out of the 370Z and the 370Z NISMO. The 370Z had traded off some of the understated looks of the 350Z for more visual aggression and sharp edges, and the NISMO version just realises that vision more completely. I do think that the 370Z has dated far more rapidly than the 350Z, which whilst not timeless, has a geometric design quality that stands out and endures.

Great car, 350z too, but no. It'll be like the GT-Four; a magnificent car but one that never really took and certainly won't appreciate like its peers have will.
But no, it's not really a magnificent car. The 350z was a good car, but never great. One of the plus sides was it's great looks, promptly ruined by the hideous looking 370z which - i suspect - is why i think i've seen just the one example in the flesh.

I'm really surprised this has gone on for 7 pages. The answer is no. The biggest problem the Z has is the the manual E46 M3. Whilst some may argue there may be many more M3s about, the amount of 'good' examples are diminishing rapidly.
