I can’t believe you ignored Cavalier sri icons of the 80s.
Getting harder and harder to find now so maybe you chose the low hanging fruit rather than search for the best

If it’s engine and transmission stuff, you can get it from the USA. They’re pretty cheap to service.

There will be some HSV-specific bits of trim, but otherwise the most expensive bit will be fuel use

I also don’t think there’s a large market for aftermarket warranties on HSVs or Holdens - owners don’t seem overly concerned by potential expensive borkage.

Well it was cheaper when new. Looks like it turned out to be an almost depreciation proof car.

Pretty much this. Over here the list price was about AU$95k, and prices start at around AU$85k for a 2015 GTS now.

A 1980’s Cav SRI with 130bhp and a 0-60 of 8.5 seconds doesn’t really meet that expectation
