Not as good as some. Saab driver was far to lazy to park 30m out of shot for a open space... just so he didn't have a extra 30 seconds walk after leaving the gym
I used to park considerately until someone bashed my door with theirs in a car park (spaces were more than large enough to avoid it) it cost me £250 to fix as it was on a panel crease, most of the lacquer was scraped off in that area and the dent man couldn't sort it (My previous car). I am now one of these heathenous c
s who parks across two spaces simply to protect my P&J from the moronic spacktards that seem to infest car parks and think it is okay to use someone else's car as a door stop. I do go out early mind you if I have to park my car anywhere and avoid multistory car parks.
At work I park across 4 (I'm not the only one that does this) as the parking spaces seem about right for a Lotus elan sized car (My current Mustang is the same dimensions as a 5/6 series BMW for comparisons). Though there are tonnes of spare car parking spaces so it really doesn't matter.

Since starting to run my winter s
tter (£350 worth of BMW) I've made it something of a game to park as close as possible to badly parked people, while keeping in my own bay. Does it make me a bad person? I've already collected a few new dents and what looks very much like someone keying the bonnet.

Perfectly acceptable in my view. Respectable, no less. If someone can't, or can't be arsed to, park properly, then a little inconvenience for them getting their own car out of the space is all well & good, especially if you don't really care about the state of your car.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Drives me nuts to see mid-sized cars (Golfs etc) parked at an angle in the space with the wheels still turned - obviously the perpetrator just drove straight in, killed engine and got out. If you can't even be bothered to straighten your own wheels much less park straight (or IMO "properly" - ie reversed in) then too bad if it takes you a few more minutes to get back out.

Why is your car more important to keep pristine than anyone elses?![censored](/inc/images/censored.gif)

God, I wouldn't do it in a car where I cared about collecting a few dents. Judging by the BMW a lot of people think nothing of slamming the door open into an adjacent vehicle and squirming through the tiny gap. Or, for that matter, giving the offending car a good kick if they have climb in through their passenger door.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
