If you want a massively engined four-door you buy a limo (RR, Bentley, big Merc).
Aston Martins are toys and no-one buys a four door toy.
No amount of cringingly naff adverts are going to change that.
AM should be ashamed of themselves.

Let’s be fair here all this Aston bashing, in terms of them being boring design, they all look the same, they’re dated is absolute rubbish.
No its not. The cars do all look very, very similar and they only really vary in terms of size.

I like them and would of course be happy to have any of the current range but dont think they are 'cool' anymore.

The advert shows that to be the case and lets not get started on the 'Power, Beauty, Soul' that comes up on the dash when you turn on the ignition.

And anyone who buys one and puts a personal plate with any reference to Bond, 007, Spy or MI5/6 should be shot in the face (preferably with a Walther PPK)

The Film sucks badly.

+1

I am in the target audience for one of these
chariots, but I wouldn't give it houseroom.

Hand built in England - isn't that synonymous
with expensive to run and breaks down a lot ?
They are not hand built wink "Neither is Ferrari , Porsche or Lambo"
Take a trip round Gaydon "same as any oth2r car makera now"
They are no more expesive to run than Lambo's, Maseratis, Ferraris or 911's "Question that mine had to serviced every year the Porsche dont" Mine has been more reliable than my Honda! "You are lucky i know many owners that joke "will pick you up if it aint broke again"

"What a pity one of the best looking cars on the market"

But as an owner I have to say the advert and the Cygnet really are $hit frown

Euro-porn. They're all off to a Travel-Tavern with a brief-case full of chocolate mousse.

They look like the same kind of prats you get on the Apprentice, think I might apply for a marketing job at AM.

Oh dear. AM marketing seems to be very hit and miss the last few years.

I think they need to quietly sweep this one under the carpet.

They had a better outing with product placement in NCIS: LA when they used the Rapide as their run-about last season

Lovely car.
Pants video, but to be fair, no worse than some Roger Moore era Bond films.

I haven't gone through all the posts so forgive me if someone has already suggested this but could it be that this is a project from The Apprentice? I was just waiting for the screen to cut to Sir Alan in the boardroom.

Sad frown but true.

I'd still have an older Aston, DB5/6 original V8 Vantage or my personal fav the twin supercharged V8 Vantage. All the rest is a bit ho hum.
