Wow, really like it. Presumably aimed at the emerging markets of the far east where 4wd and a bit more ground clearance are necessary, where there is greater scope for market share and profit? Still looks superb though..

Did you even read the article?
Yes, why?

"Although the Pininfarina-designed body appears to have come from a brief that called for the adding of BMW M coupe and Reliant Scimitar genes into the Ferrari mix, and although the new 4x4 drivertrain is rather a departure from the norm, the FF sticks to its knitting with a V12 powerplant up front."

It's pretty much nigh on identical to the beemer.

I personally wouldn't buy it if I was looking at a ferrari.

Why? because the article state it looked like an M coupe there was no need for 10 more posts with pictures telling us how much it looked like an M coupe!!

I really like the look of that - and is it just me that thinks the b-pillar back is more brera than M-coupe?

Hmmmmm not pretty and the addition of 4 wheel drive is certainly not in keeping with Ferrari’s new apparent green agenda......very disappointing indeed....has no grace at all.

Save the money and buy the Maserati GranTurismo S instead......

at least it's not an electric hybrid ferrari - even writing those three words together seems wrong. I'm sure the V12 will sound awesome, but agree that a load lugger can't cost any more than around £100k at most

And the name.....if they can make four door sound so nice normally, surely they could have come up with something more evocative than FF?!!! Very poor.

Well, erm, that's unexpected but - love it! They've got form with the bread van and I've always had a thing for GTs. Suspect, a bit like the 456, it might look better in another colour rather than red - would love to see it in blue.

Love it. So much better looking than the Panamera or Rapide IMO.

My biggest issue is the dry weight of 1780kg - that's a seriosuly obese car.
It's not bad for somethig with a V12 and AWD though.
The latest BMW Z4 already weighs approx. 1700kg ! (with a half V12 !)

I agree that Ferrari cars have recently been rather uninteresting, esthetically-speaking.
The 458 seems even to have a badly-fitting bonnet! Completely wrong, disproportionned, effeminate, slipper-shaped. Probably lovely to drive, but any old Ferrari looks better!

Some old Ferraris were near-perfect in design: 250GTO'64, 365GTB/4 Daytona, 250GTE, 250SWB, 375+ 1954, 250GT California Spider, Superfast, Superamerica, Lusso, etc.!
But today's? Naaah.
