Agree with the Alfa 159/Brera - it looks angry!

if you've ever had on of these close in on you in the fast lane, lights ablaze then you understand road presence. its about as close to a four wheeled spitfire as you can get......

yes Plus that notion of 'I will not stop. I will carve you in two.'

I'm surprised at how many people have listed BMW 5 Series or Audi RS4s...

Honestly, if I see a BMW 5 series or an Audi A4 storming up behind me I don't bat an eyelid... Not being an affecionado of either I just see a repmobile.

A fast moving white Transit always gets my attention though! redface

One of these is parked regularly outside my flat. The road presence is truly remarkable. It's all very well talking about huge monsters like the Knight etc, which obviously have size on their side too but for real presence, a Phantom has the job done.

SL65 AMG Black Series - looks like the sort of thing Batman would have as a daily driver:

Q7's always seem to be the ones pushing everyone out of Lane 3 from what I've seen. In fact the other day I was following some plonker who decided he need to use the right hand lane of a dual carriageway to overtake fresh air for mile after mile, so I let the Q7 that was sat on my bumper sit on his bumper. He was there for about 10 seconds until the idiot moved and we could all get by.

I share your confusion about tailgating. Not something I'm familiar with.. but speaking of being left alone. I did once get a scare in my 4.2 when an old shape Seat Cupra R with four occupants complete with baseball caps went up the outside of me out of a roundabout onto a dual carrigeway and it took liberal use of the accelerator rest, the length of a couple of gears and the familiar beep of the limiter a few times to clear a couple of car lengths between us!

There was nothing wrong with my Cerbera, in fact it put to shame many very serious cars who expected less but that little Seat took me by surprise. Fast car owners.. you've been warned!
