You should use the same plate manufacture as Craig, as he has 'illegal' plate on his Bemmer. well unless he can tell us otherwise ???
be marked to show who supplied the number plate
be marked with a British Standard number - this is ‘BS AU 145e’ for plates fitted after 1 September 2021

You're coming across very much as though you have small-man syndrome. It's a very good plate, correctly spaced, why do you care so much that you can't see the official stuff on it from a low-res photo?LargeRed said:

thank you for the clarification.the 'others' who butt'ed in, are just plain rude. I never asked them, but as always, PH'ers looking for an argument.

Just goes to show that some people have to have the very latest plate possible and simply cannot fathom why someone would put an older plate on a younger car, even if it's a private plate with meaning for the owner far beyond the age identifier.
yes because TT04 ("random letters") really means something on a 2015 TT.2 sMoKiN bArReLs said:

ci = cubic inch - Yank capacity (other countries may use it)
cc = cubic centimetre AKA metric - not equivilent
so 383 ci = 6.276 Litres or 6,276 cc
I've heard of inches but never of engines described in inches and didn't know anybody still used it as a measurement. 6276cc, that's like huge. Respect.ci = cubic inch - Yank capacity (other countries may use it)

anything you want to measure .....
1 yard = 3 feet [1 yard is approximately 0.914 metres]
1 chain = 22 yards
1 chain = 100 links
1 rod = 1 perch = 1 pole = 25 links or 5.5 yards = 16 1/2 feet = 1/4 chain
1 furlong = 10 chains = 40 rods = 220 yards
1 mile = 8 furlongs = 80 chains
3 miles = 1 league
3 barleycorns = 1 inch

Aww 5/10 you only went for land based measurements - I’d have given 10/10 for the nautical ones as well1 yard = 3 feet [1 yard is approximately 0.914 metres]

You've never heard of a 427 Cobra?Same with F40, had to look that up as well, yet another funny old car that none of my FB group have heard of either.
I bet there's an old Royal Navy thread somewhere on here where they discuss how fantastic it is that the new multi sail warships can now fire cannon balls nearly a kilometre and having been taught modern stuff in school I can spell the word centimetre, not like those who spell it centimeter.
