Cars taking on bikes (again)

Does a BMX count ?
Oh go on then, tell me how fast you are. You're sure to impress me.
Depends if you have trick nuts. If you can go over a self made dirt jump in a Porsche in the same way as I can on a Grifter then you win. Oh go on then, tell me how fast you are. You're sure to impress me.
Btw, my bike will do 186 mph with a gear to spare. My car is geared for 236 mph so I win.

So much testosterone in one thread
Mixed with reality and real-life experience -vs- tripe and dodgy fuel pump relays on defunct iron How strange....

Hmm, for some reason you’ve taken the time to read my recent posts on the Chimaera forum, called it tripe, and my p&j ‘defunct iron’ whilst suggesting its ‘vs’ reality and real life experience...
How strange....
He lives in an alternate universe, it's not his fault. How strange....
He should be given help, encouragement and support until he understands the real reality.
A bit of understanding can go a long way.

Not really.How strange....
You seem to have an interest in this non-argument so I checked out what you base your opinion on.
There was a slim chance you actually owned a half decent bike or had ridden one. Hell, you might even be able to ride and have a licence.
But, all I found was a post you started about a broken down car from a defunct manufacturer.
‘Tripe’ referred to the half-arsed comments from the F1 drivers on here - apologies if you thought it aimed ‘only’ at you.
Now, back to the delusional world of stuck in traffic dreaming of even getting near a £5000 bike you lot

A Grifter is a big boy's bike.Btw, my bike will do 186 mph with a gear to spare. My car is geared for 236 mph so I win.
I've just graduated from a Budgie to a Tomahawk. The BMX was on loan (well, PCP, and the finance company don't like modifications).
236 MPH is impressive in a Discovery though.
I've managed 172 MPH in a Vectra (no idea why that car was so fast) and the same in a 911 Turbo S with another gear to go.
Do you think the big boy's club might consider my application for membership if I promise to brag about everything and consider myself better than I am ?

Yes and my Disco will do that speed across a ploughed field covered in 3 feet of water. Unlike any Porsche. I've managed 172 MPH in a Vectra (no idea why that car was so fast) and the same in a 911 Turbo S with another gear to go.

You should add something to your garage so we can compare peni.

Garage is currently a bit boring I'm afraid although I do have a bit of Jinba Ittai going on.You should add something to your garage so we can compare peni.
Fast Fords, Hondas, Renault sport stuff, the occasional M car and big, scary motorbikes (although I don't ride anymore) did reside there once upon a time though.
I think I need a Disco to inject some much needed spice into my life. And a GT3 (Club Sport, obvs) because rollcages make you look faster. Even if you're not. Much like bikes actually.

Everyone should have a Disco. If you are embarking on an adventure or just a long drive, they are hard to fault. Fast Fords, Hondas, Renault sport stuff, the occasional M car and big, scary motorbikes (although I don't ride anymore) did reside there once upon a time though.

And bikes are faster.
