No low speed auto braking on the Range Rover? Unless it's been disabled for emergency smashing down gates, I guess.
Exactly this. Also Airbags are often disabled in armoured/VIP cars for the same reason. The PM's Jag being armoured means it probably has to go through some expensive testing before being back on duty....
I would assume they have spare armoured car to use.

But you can clearly see from the video that the car is armoured (have a look at the windows).
I can imagine that even a low speed impact would require them to have the structural/armour integrity tested, since the car not only withstands bullets, but explosives too.

I suppose it's a refreshing change from car crashes of the metaphorical variety.carinaman said:
Pretty normal for Birmingham, there's a VERY high number of drivers there who just don't speak or read English, the multi-lane roundabouts can be lethal. Particularly the roundabout leading to the Aston expressway, where lane 1 and two are left turn lanes and lane 3 is straight over, the number of people who go straight on from lane 1 is staggering, first cutting off people in lane 2, and then cutting off people in lane 3.Edited by lyonspride on Sunday 21st June 21:36

Land Rover driver was a tt though, no need for that overtake
Typically almost everyone who features in these clips is a bit of a bell. There are a few exceptions but the vast majority either can't speak properly, relentlessly swear when there's no need to (indicating personality/anger issues within their lives) or display no driving awareness skills at all.robbiekhan said:

Yeh but she's a facking lerrrrner innit!!LR was pushing his luck with that overtake, yes, should've stayed behind, but the howler monkey routine that followed was a proper window into the mindset of the camera's owner, especially with her screaming instructions at her fella to go and attack him.

Without speculating what happened before, Emz's behaviour is beyond acceptable.
Someone reacting like this should not be allowed on the road. Period.
They are not mentally fit to operate a vehicle on public roads, imho.
From what I can see and hear, they accelerated deliberately in order to close the gap for the LR.
As with so many clips there seems to be less and less consideration for other drivers and their faults.
90% of the clips show either non incidents or ones that could have been avoided with just lifting the pedal for a second instead of sounding their horn for a full minute, followed by swearing and tailgating (and uploading a video on youtube).
I don't have a dashcam and I rather let someone in, especially if they push themselves in.
We all make a stupid move on the roads once in a while, nobody is perfect.
So why not acknowledge that be prepared to forgive the other persons fault, especially if luckily nothing has happened.
Makes for a much more relaxed drive.

Perhaps I'm making an incorrect inference, but are you suggesting that having a camera encourages people to drive like bell-ends? There's a confirmation bias at work if you judge all dashcam owners by the standards of those who upload videos of them acting like enraged chimps to YouTube... You'll never see the vast majority of dashcam owners on YouTube because our videos would just be everyday, boring, uneventful driving. My only insurance claim was when a fully sign-written minicab rammed my car hard enough to push it several feet along my driveway in broad daylight in front of several of my neighbours (I wasn't in the car, the car wasn't on the road!). Turned out he was uninsured, and despite several witnesses seeing his face, the sign-writing on the car, the reg number, the police CBA to investigate and the insurers refused to pursue the matter as the taxi driver denied it, so I ended up losing my NCB and being out of pocket. So, if an angry dad / powerfully-built director / Uber driver spanks his car into the back of mine because he wasn't paying attention, then I have some decent proof rather than him being apologetic at the scene but later on making up tales of me swerving over from another lane or brake-checking him. Makes for a much more relaxed drive
As you say, we all make a stupid move now and then (or, conversely, don't make a stupid move but don't see something coming we should have done), so I've found it handy to review the footage to see what I could do better another time. Sad though that may be
I've never created an incident, or pointed at my dashcam shouting "CAM-RUH!"

I didn't mean to generalize. The use of your dashcam is exactly as intended: Install it, forget about it and review the footage once you had an accident/severe incident. (not commenting on you improving your own driving awareness ) They certainly are useful in situations like you described. And I have toyed with the idea of getting one myself for this very instance, tbh!My only insurance claim was when a fully sign-written minicab rammed my car hard enough to push it several feet along my driveway in broad daylight in front of several of my neighbours (I wasn't in the car, the car wasn't on the road!). But many clips seem not to be about these kind of situations, but rather mundane ones.
Some peoples seems to have gained a hobby in getting deliberately into situations and post a video.
Often the camera car doesn't backup and can be seen getting into situations that are completely avoidable. It seems they do that either for some clicks on the internet, or out of pure stupidity.
Them shouting "CAMRUAHHHH!!!!" and keep going on -as if this would somehow exempt them from checking their surroundings- only indicates that they are perfectly aware they have just recorded a video for youtube (sometimes even stating this to the other driver).
I look forward to appearing in one of these compilations soon - heading along the A362 just off the A36 roundabout by Warminster I overtook a ditherer in a Citroen C3. I didn't need to break the speed limit to complete it (limit was 60, Citroen was doing 40) As I drove past I glanced over and he was giving me the "WTF" hand. So naturally I pulled back in front and gave a wave out of the window of course he had a dashcam.
