Most ridiculous size tyres on car

I'll just leave this here....
When cars first arrived on our roads they had solid tyres. It seems that some people want to revert to the bone shaking ride from over 100 years of development. Of course the owner of that particular work of automotive excellence feels that achieving the ultimate cornering ability is not high on his list of priorities. It won't be long before we will be able to paint our tyres onto our 60" rims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and the wheel manufacturers will be in the Top 100 shares on the Stock Exchange and weekly trips to the osteopath the norm.

You do realise that's a subjective statement you've made?!?
Not really, no. What reasons, other than financial, are there to select a 2.0 TDI over a 3.0 TDI?Fox- said:

I bought it lightly used, so I didn't have to pay the ridiculous £1800 for the 20" upgrade, and as part of the deal they put on 4 brand new tyres which will serve me the time I own the car, proving I don't get a puncture, this negates any comments re economy.
So you only intend to keep it for circa 10-15k miles?kmpowell said:
Yes, that's right. In ghe past I've changed cars ever c12mths, but with the A6 I'll prob keep it a bit longer and change at c24mths. I now only do 6-8k mainly motorway miles a year, so the tyres should last.
6k miles a year and you selected the 2 litre 4 cylinder diesel model? This is Pistonheads, right?
