Keep the new Hilux currently on order, swap the i3 for a Mercedes EQC, add a BMW i8 (I'm sure I could find an unregistered one somewhere if not still available new).

Due to some implausible scenario a generous benefactor is willing to buy you any three BRAND NEW vehicles you want.

What are they and why?

You can't immediately resell and buy something else, so stop trying to cheat.
Interesting question. And answer without reading what others have to say(will read it right after my post).

2 are easy for me.

Alpina B5 Touring, as the family car, for trips, holidays etc.

Tesla Model 3 Performance(probably with better wheels and some more details after a trackday),
for the daily around town and the way to work. Pease for the mind and the mrs, who wants even more than me an electric car.

The third has to be a convertible and as we talk only about new cars and i assume that the garage then
cant have any old cars as well, is a tough one.
V8 and manual would be great, but the choice get very limited then..
Maybe an aston V8vantage roadster manual.. Although i d prefer the old model(looks!) V12 roadster manual...

In real life i have 2 problems with the solution. Money, as most of us will
and a mrs, who insists on max 2 cars for 2 persons(i know it doesnt make sense, but she s the boss).
Right now we still have 3 and i try to keep the old convertible as non counting,
but trouble is rising, as with upcoming speed limit here in germany...

2 lists
1st if they are the only 3
2nd if I can keep current cars and/or add to them.
1. Brabus 800 E63S Estate daily, Fully loaded Disco SVO (If they can be persuaded to build one) for off road, seven seats, towing & hauling, AMG one.
2. AMG one, Eagle lightweight GT, LHD Continental GT convertible for Paris.

For us it'd would need to be one daily/GT, something open and exciting that's trackable and a something rugged and comfortable

DB11 as the Daily.
I'd be happy with any WRC car for the moors.
Any Australian Supercar for track days.

I’d have newer / further up the range if money didn’t matter, but the favourite three of my current cars are close to my “ultimate” list;

Range Rover Sport
McLaren 650s
Mercedes SL63

Each is tuned to a decent amount above stock. And each gets used for the things that they do best.

Anyone have Gordon Murray's phone number, I have some ideas I'd like to have a chat with him about.

Not sure you understand what 'car' means. hehe

In fact, if we are playing that game then sod the cars, I'll have:

Pilatus PC-12NG
BAE Hawk T2
Mi-24P Hind (for the school run)

Can you modify them? Or have to leave standard.

GT3rs for the weekend car

Alfa as the daily driver. Comfy, fast, not too shouty.

And I have 4 kids, so a Discovery HSE Lux as a family wagon, tip car and for weekends away.

F56 Mini JCW for the Hot Hatch
Exige Sport 420 Final Edition for the Sportscar / Track
911 GT2 RS (I'll wait for the 992 version) for the Supercar / Look-at-me car. Maybe a 765LT, but I'm a 911 person really.

Kids grown up, wife not bothered about cars, anything with more than 2 useable seats is pointless. The F56 has a hatch for some practicality. Happily drive to the South of France in any of those three,

Probably still keep a sheddy estate tucked away for tip runs.
