Great turnout & I thought the venue was pretty good too. I thought the cafe did a pretty good job considering. They obviously made the effort.

A21 is definitely 70 limit. Speed camera is often at the top of the hill after 7oaks before you come down to the M25.It sits on the other side too on occasions. It's more visable now that a few years ago when they sat on the bridge over the A21 at this point and poked it down the hill.

Unfortunately I may have been on the wrong side of 80 when we spotted the camera van (then I braked). A white van was overtaking me at about 90 at the same time. Does anyone know if those van cameras can book two vehicles in two lanes simultaneously, or does the operator point it at the fastest moving vehicle (i.e. outside lane) to get the biggest hit?

A great gathering nevertheless. I also noticed 3 interesting Dutch plate cars heading south through Tunbridge Wells at 13:00, I hope they weren't too disappointed if they joined the tail-end of the meeting!

He was pretty lucky as the exit to the railway station is on a fairly blind bend, luckily he wasn't t-boned by someone coming round the bend a bit quick.

NSL on a dual carriageway wasn't it? Should be fine. (I hope!)

James I saw your brakes come on so knew something must be up - I did wonder why you looked a tad worried at the toll booth!

Whereabouts in Essex are you based mate - I dropped a cog or two to see a mate in Billericay so kind of left you - sorry!

Phil

Me, worried?

I'm based in Thurrock (unfortunately...), so the A13 was my exit and way home. No worries about peeling off: I forgot to tell you I'd be leaving there! Where're you based, if you don't mind me asking?

El Kinko: my car isn't as neglected as it looked...honest!

A tip-top meet: my first, and of many I hope. Cool people, nice pleace, good drive and cracking cars. C'est perfect!

I'm up around Buckhurst Hill near Loughton - but work out of Brentwood. I have to say I did wonder where you'd got to - the new car isn't that fast!

My first post since sunday, and it was a great way to spend sunday morning... I wasn't expecting so many 'exotic' cars... (F40, De Tomaso)

I have decided that I desperatly NEED a sports car of some sort, my car looked way to normal in that crowd. (Silver 3 series saloon near the monaro)

Sorry to hear about the Atom, I heard it was up for sale aswell???

To Whomever owns the bentley turbo R.... There was something so gracious about seeing you light up your rear tyres on existing that junction onto wadhurst road... made my day!

Nicest Car = De Tomaso Pantera

Pics when i find out how to load them...

cheers
Lee

Dear all, it was great meeting you on Sunday. I did try to say hello to as many as I could. I could not resist following the thread to gauge your opinion on Wadhurst Station and our Donjon Rouge coffee bar. Thanks for making the effort to come down to sunny Wadhurst and behaving so impeccably. I hope you enjoyed the bagettes and coffees etc.WE do appreciate your feedback. Everyone seemed to get into the spirit of things, (including our two lovely WPCs) and we incurred only one complaint from our neighbours for some dodgy driving up at the Shell Garage in the village. I cannot remember seeing so much stunning kit. Favourite car, the Pantera!!

Ok where exactly was this speed camera as I was taking some fairly serious exercise in between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge on sunday. Sorry I didn't come down to the meet but I only found out about it today.... If anyone does know if it was south of Tonbridge or not it would be handy as I'm getting that sinking feeling.......Thanks

I thought you did a fantastic job and the bacon bagettes were just what the doctor ordered. I was particularly impressed that you started taking orders from within the queue. This meant that my 4 year old son and I weren't waiting long at all.

The Pantera was lovely but the F40 stole the show for me.

Well done and thanks for your hospitality.
