Indeed. Just think if Ferrari lopped the V12 in half lengthwise, or took a couple of pots off the V8 and stuck it in a Boxster sized coupe and roadster body for £75-90k.

Not if they adopted the old school policy of designing cars purely for Italians and no one else. I'll never comfortably drive a Testarossa because of this. Actually, I doubt I'd ever be able to drive it full stop.

That looks lovely. Not sure if I've ever seen a white one?
The "see what other people are watching" links at the bottom of the page took me to a barn find Riva!

A mate had a 246 a few years ago, went to have a look...I think you are supposed to stand 10ft away....underneath and in the engine compartment, the quality of some of the metalwork and welding was not far off novice standard.

It went and sounded ok, obviously not quick by todays standards, but a bit "emperors new cloths" as far as I am concerned. Other than image, it is far less of a driving experience than a 2.7RS of the same era.

It's hard to objective, because most of you on here think the E36 M3 steering is of an acceptable standard? smile
2.7 RS is in a different league from an out-and-out drivers car but then they were not really direct rivals.

2.7 RS is still one of the most fantastic cars I have ever pedalled, the noise/grunt/steering/chassis are just sublime.

Dino is still brilliant in its own right imho, steering is lovely and the general feel of the car is just right. Quick enough to be entertaining and boy-oh-boy what a noise.

One of each will do me. Thanking you muchly.

Has this been discussed yet? It has a very 'unique' specification....

Odd that you'd choose an SE with a manual, and that's before we get to the colour choice.

I wonder how much of a deposit sir had to leave before they placed the build order?

Yeah. He definitely prefers brown. To pink.

I'd choose a 1 or 3 with the larger engines in SE spec with a stick. But I don't like Msport bits.

Link's gone the way of the dodo - £1800 seems far too cheap?

That was an individual showcase car.

If it was an auto I'd have a raging stumpher.

In other news, got an X6 40d home tonight. I rather like it.

Link works, I've seen how rough a mid 3s one is at £1800 you'll likely be looking at serious bummage.
