He wanted to have Queensberry Rules fisticuffs on the grass, in case he fell over on the pavement and scuffed his knees.Edited by TimmyMallett on Wednesday 1st July 10:18

He wasnt blocking, he was taking a defensive position to stop fking idiots who are incapable of waiting, or overtaking trying to squeeze past a scooter limited to doing just under the posted speed limit of 40.If you cant overtake a scooter doing 30 without doing it safely on the other carriageway and not shove your way past then you need to wait, or stop driving.
He was a shouty gobste.

The driver was an oblivious idiot, but I feel that the instructor got drawn into that discussion way too much. Where did his students end up? They seemed to ride away expecting him to be behind them. I feel he let his students down a little by getting that involved.FreeLitres said:

I feel he let his students down a little by getting that involved.Looks like he positioned very dominantly to block overtakes - which I get, as he had pupils, but could he have instructed his pupils to move in at any point to allow faster traffic to pass (They did seem to be going very slow compared to the speed limit - could be wrong on that front) as per the HC?
I notice as well he was not linked by radio. That would have been a safer scenario.
I can understand mr. fighty to a very small degree - but yeah, massive overreaction

And remember folks. Speed limits aren’t targets.
Absolutely hilarious that people are somehow trying to blame the rider for doing exactly the right thing. You do know that cars don’t have special rights over two wheelers right?
Yeah, if I happened on someone on a big bike behind two on smaller bikes with L plates, I would just hang back and overtake safely if the opportunity presented itself. Its like when you see parents and small kids on bikes, you just keep back and let them get on with it.Absolutely hilarious that people are somehow trying to blame the rider for doing exactly the right thing. Its funny how folk like the chap from the Fiesta is in such a massive hurry he cant afford to slow down briefly until they part ways or he can overtake, but can afford to stop for way longer than the actual delay to posture and threaten the biker.
If he had actually been violent then the time would be a lot, lot longer, Police, cell, interview, court, community service etc.
