My Dadwagon. Currently in the paint shop getting rear passenger door sorted after some vandal scratched it and got some paint flaking away and bubbling on the bumper.

It's looking good! Such a good all round car. Missed it so much I ordered its modern equivalent - G21 M340i Touring - a few pages back. Sorry to hear about the vandalism, that's rubbish.

Went shopping, in Southall and Cardiff. I think this is what these cars are for. Astonishingly comfortable for over 11 hours driving.

CLS63 AMG in service at Silverstone after a new clutch and brakes: drives beautifully at 60,000 miles - feels new, no slack or sloppiness anywhere. I rarely use it any more so it has been great to get it out.

Parked remotely in the hotel car park as its so big, and someone decided to park their (rather nice) Golf right next to it despite a load of empty spaces. This always amuses me!

Being an R that's clearly a fellow enthusiast and it looks like you both share the Mediterranean sensibility of parking in the shade...

I love these and it's a proper colour, too.

Best time at the Pod 13,7 @102 mph

That looks fun. Also love the Red Golf R posted before.
Thanks Jim thumbup

It's running adjustable coilovers (for dampening) too, making track days even more fun smile

On the opposite end of the scale compared to a lot of metal in this thread...

My very elderly but very much loved V70 T5 which possibly scrapes in by hauling itself to 147mph on the Autobahn... granted, it then took about 147 miles to stop again.

I bought this back in early 2015 to do a banger rally to Rome and back, which it did fine and then it sort of embedded itself into my life for the following couple of years during which time it had several European jaunts. Situation change dictated it had to go and for the past couple of years it had been sat gathering dust in an associates garage. I bought it back much to the wife's delight earlier this year because rose tinted specs etc.

It's since had and failed an MOT and been sat in the garage ever since whilst I kid myself that I have the time to actually do something with it again. No idea what to do with it, it's hardly that dynamic to drive and an autobox doesn't help and nor is it valuable nor particularly rare or exciting or indeed fast in today's world. It's also a massive pain in the arse as I can't get my lawnmower out past it easily.

I do have a far off dream to cross the Arctic circle and also go back to Adenau for a pizza so this might be the tool for the job...

From memory, the same supercharge V8 that the XFR got. Makes a noise like a spitfire and goes like hell.

The only sport brake that wasn’t powered by the devils fuel?

You can get it in 2.0 as well I think,

Guessing the XFR-S Sportbrake doesn't come up for sale that often.

These have 39 more BHP than the XFR with a handy 542BHP. There were only 61 XFR-S Sportbrakes built worldwide, so they are pretty rare.

Exclusive as hell then, not going to find one of them in a hurry.
