Very quiet in here tonight, there doesn't seem to be much coming up for sale recently. Something a little rare (and suitably out of budget) for Friday. It reminds me of an XJ6 that has been hit with the ugly stick, but I'm still drawn to it.

CL500 at £2350. Nasty wheels but could be worse. That aside this is dirt cheap.

That CL is sitting very high at the rear, but the front remains low.

Otherwise at that price probably worth a punt (disclaimer: haven't checked MOT history).

Indeed, but it’s a 2018 price for one, which is good to see.

Apropos of nothing, I didn’t realise the later Z4 with a folding hard top was close to thread these days. Unless this slightly dodgy wrapped one is a single poor example. I mean they’re 11+ year old BMWs so I’d expect cheap by now, but still.

Not a thread worthy car unfortunately.

But everyone loves an early start sitting on the train filled with excitement/fear/trepidation over an incoming potential purchase don’t they!

I've probably missed it, but what's the impending purchase? Good luck!

Like I say it’s not really thread worthy unfortunately so I don’t want to steal column inches. But let’s just say a part of me will hopefully tick off a childhood PlayStation derived dream today…!

Incredible! The opposite of a barge, but I love them.

Good luck! Not sure I'd be able to squeeze myself into one.

yes

It could be called "Photos of my Autozam next to things". Cars, large dogs, small horses it'd all be great.

Congratulations on the Kei purchase. Something small and light would be great for the tight twisty lanes here.

I'm more Americano than Cappuccino when it comes to coffee but I had a real desire for one of these when I was younger.

yup, similar to the Honda Beat's or S660 and a whole range of tiny van's, taxis, and cereal boxes on wheels - one of my family really wants one to replace her A-Class.

Back to full sized cars... as it's the weekend this Crown Hybrid is double thread budget but fully kitted out it seems;
Crown Hybrid

And this one is a smidge over thread max and is my gen of Crown Athlete - green digital clock and some cloth seats
Crown Athelete

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think that Crown hybrid is really boring. Boring colour, boring styling, and at the price, you could get an LS600H if you want a luxury hybrid....?

You're right but the white will be pearl white despite preferring the look of my 180 - when I buy another Crown it's going to skip this gen, however if this was the only Japanese choice I'd be buying it because I'm so biased from experience with European cars... also can't say no to swinging air vents, green digital clock and a dashboard voice which will tell me the date and time before wishing me happy birthday / merry christmas / happy new year at the appropriate points biggrin
