So, an XJ40 on lattice alloys, lowered a smidge and with a few engine tweaks could be a great thing non?

Almost Coventry's answer to the E34 M5 in fact scratchchin

This is best looking XJ40 I've ever seen. Judicious lowering gives them some fantastic menace.

I want this in either 4.0 manual form with some engine tweaks or just a 12-pot slusher.

I miss my '40 a lot.

Not the fuel bills though.

The Chasseur I posted works whereas that DB7 wheeled example, although looking menacing, is a tad too much imho.

A few things this afternoon;

1) I really fancy a tweaked XJ40
2) Found pics of my old Phase 1 172 on a Brands trackday and now want another
3) Conjunctivitis is a real nuisance
4) Dicky heart kicked in with a vengeance (sp?) this morning

this has tempted me.
a 200k Allroad Derv. Loved fathers and would have thought it still feels as new?

Have you had it looked at Loon, or are you just relying on it either going away or killing you?

Looks like a number of the big jobs have been done "recently" (whatever that means). But they are big old bundles of bork.

Nice though!

I had a 2.5TDI A4 and it nearly bankrupted me in 6 months of ownership - I've paid out less on more exotic cars.

[edit]

And that wasn't even with the cams breaking up.

If I had a Morgan 3-wheeler. And I painted it olive drab and put roundels on the side of it. If I had one, and I did that, I'd use a collection of them there badges to create a small row of symbols on the side of my 'fuselage' with crosses through them in a 'kills' kind of style.
