Best: Because the current crop of van-based MPVs can't hold a candle to it!

Worst: I have fond memories of its predecessor as a child, dad had a 1.8 Marina estate (red, DeLuxe spec, brown vinyl interior!), but this just makes the bile rise...

I'm surprised no ones mentioned this beaut, and that's not sarcasm

Thanks. I'm not surprised to find out it's Japanese. Incredibly talentless styling.

I know they would undoubtedly best it in rust protection, that's for sure. I think Iron oxide killed 99% of Talbot Rancho's.

I love them, but better looking than the saloon and its concave screen and swoopy profile? Not a chance.

A bit of cross-fertilisation from another thread.

The Cruze is (was) a bit of a minger in saloon/hatch form, but that looks half decent.

This was the first car that came to mind. Too much overhang on the rear.

Following on from this thread, I hate to have to say it as I respect the car immensely, but this one I think falls into the worst category...

I still think this was a great car

I nearly bought it back last summer, I think I was right not to go back, but......

Shirley, all Legacys have been better looking as estates. It's as if they designed the wagon first and then tried to cobble a saloon.

Yes. I am biased.
I think there is a long range echo in this thread. rolleyes
How odd. I'd forgotten about this thread but have just seen my post seems to have appeared twice quite far apart. I didn't seriously think my comment was worth saying twice. Once was enough.

IMO definitely falls into the best category...
