Yes, unfortunately I'm feeling similarly cynical about this. Seeing such public evidence of total scumbaggery and the worry that this will result in little more than a slapped wrist or maybe a tag for a few months. Standard procedure.Arrest, charge, then release so that all data can be collated and handed to CPS, who then build the case, and book it in at the Magistrates to be heard.
The machinations of judicial bureacracy are slow.
