Like I'm accepting authority from anyone, anyway!

Especially from people having trouble with the concept of interpunction and the use of capitals at the beginning of a sentence.

Anyone into bangernomics here (i.e. buy a car with a few months' MOT and tax on it, run it until either runs out, bin it, buy another)? Folks who've been practicing that for a good few years almost certainly qualify for King of PH (nervous' rules)... hehe

Currently running a King's selection of motors:

Alfa Romeo 156 racer
E30 M3 weekender
Diesel estate tow barge/traffic tool

... but can still only score -7.

Tsk.

I tried it with a 50 quid 320i. It lived for two years with loads of abuse and no sevicing - ruined my score that did.

Ahh, but that indicates you were too much of a car enthusiast to bin a perfectly serviceable Beemer just because the tax and/or MOT had run out! Which underlines my way of thinking? - the lower your score, the higher your PH credibility.

Do you lot mind? Im on a teleconference at work and desperately trying not to giggle whilst reading this.

Licence of 12 yrs, number of cars owned 5, Index = -7.

Whilst not quite a member of the stool party I do suspect this is definately putting me in the company of the kitchen scrubbers.

In my defence 4 of my 5 cars have all been sportscars and only 2 of the cars have had a roof! I feel this should be taken into account and possibly move me away from kitchen scrubbing duty and at least into the gardening club.

As far as I am concerned no calculation is needed: McNab should be crowned king.

Just take a look at the cars on his profile, know they are only the ones he has had photographed, remember his illustrious and respected career as Le Mans and Jaguar driver, and there is no debate as to who should be crowned king, except ...

... the man I know is far too modest to accept the crown.

Means nothing though, Arthur wouldn't have got squat if he didn't try and lift the sword out the rock.

For the record I have a score of plus 9, and I haven't even owned a car for the past two years hehe

Does this qualify for some cushy government post? Maybe Minister for Terrorism or head of the Repost Gestapo cop

Actually owned (not including company cars) = 9 cars in 25 years.

-16

I can get it upto –15 if I'm allowed to count a Reliant Super Robin 850 (on motorbike licence) cool
