Eh? Do you not get the entire point of this website at all?????!! It DOES matter, not massively so, but at least to the extent that we can all take the piss out of this sad wr. I fking detest BMW's personally, but even I'm offended by this....
You must lead an empty life if this is all you have to worry about.

Yeah, maybe the guy had a M3 previously, you see a lot of X3,X5,M3,M5 style plates these days on cars other than BMW's. I guess it saves them keeping the plate on retention.

It's in New Zealand, but that doesn't mean we can't still have a little dig at the Yanks!

Badge says 'M' not 'M3" just means they've bolted on some M parts.
Maybe thats his name. Mark, Matt, err...something beginning with M.
Mutt...?
Afraid not! Whaddya reckon, an M3 badge on the back of my Clio 197? hehe
I've seen a clio M3 before, and a Fiesta M3

Both were hilarious!
There's a beige Nova (saloon) M-Sport near my house in Southampton. Glad some people have a sense of humour smile

My missus took in a Kia Sorento with an M badge. She realised it wasn't by the way!

Ah that would the one that lived by me. By a VW garage there I assume? Used to park it across two car parking bays - well you can as it's a "proper M" shoot Guy used to have a focus Zetec previously....with an RS sticker on the back!

So he's wrong - it's a 320Cd M Sport. Therefore it's not badged up as anything it isn't. Whilst the factory didn't put that badge there they did put the 8 other ones fitted to that car in other places on there. He's hardly pretending it's an M3, it's still badged as a 320Cd!

Fake M3's which require derision look like the picture I posted above, not that chaps Cabrio.

I saw an old shape A4 a few days ago with cheap plastic bumpers, cheap quad exhausts and RS4 badges.
I really wanted the driver to come into work so I could explain to him that they didnt do a RS4 saloon in that shape haha
It didnt even have the wide arches and had new shape RS4 rims, how bad a fake???

The factory aren't likely to have positioned it so badly. Should've been before the 320 Cd or after IMHO. Might have been better to move the 320Cd over to the left.

It's amazing the number of 3 series you see about with M/M3 badges on them, just wait 'til you hear those 4 cylinders roar though!
