Being an old git i'd say, look at the fun you could have with the cortina. That's a cool car. Stand out from the crowd, lots have bimmers, few have cortinas. You got zero depreciation, and easy to fix. Keep it stock or you could drop a 2.8i Cologne lump & drivetrain from a granada/capri in that and sort the handling for the same sort of money you'd throw at a BMW when things went really wrong, yet get your money back when you sell, cos it's unique. If you look after it, can only appreciate in value. Check out the relevant PH sections. Ah go wan, go wan!
