I'm not into supercars but I spotted this McLaren at lunchtime today and thought it might be of interest to someone.

It is Toronto, I was waiting for some friends outside a restaurant, not actually trying to ‘pap’ the Porsche!

Ah, ok! I didn't spot that it was driving on the right. They sound incredible don't they.

A while ago I converted some old family slides (the wifes side) to jpg, and found these.

Am working on the back story but looks fun!

going back to the owner of the Chiron... is it definitely correct to describe a billionaire as a car lover just because he has lots of expensive cars? He may not actually care about them that much! It might just be something to do. He might have 500 pairs of silk boxer shorts - doesn't mean he is silk boxer shorts lover; just means he has stacks of cash to spend on whatever without really putting too much thought into it. We may never know but i guess it's weird that someone can be seen as cool just because they knew someone who could get them a cool thing and had the money to buy the cool thing. Just a thought... it's not jealousy before someone chips in... just can't see him pouring over magazines and researching online, posting on PH etc.

I'd say somebody actually driving (as opposed to just owning) a Chiron will at minimum have a certain affinity for cars. Somebody who does not car would probably just have a Phantom or similar and a driver to ferry him around- he would not bother owning stuff to drive himself

i dunno about that either really. If I was a multi-billionaire and wanted a car and didn't give a st about cars i might just go for whatever has the biggest show off numbers but isn't so obscure that you'd need to be a petrolhead to have heard of it.

Not sure I'd let a teenager at my dashboard - or am I being unfair?

if it's the sort of thing they can do in halfords i'd assume it's the sort of thing you could do yourself with one of those bent prong tools off of eBay!

A beautiful pale silver blue DB11 has just dropped off a neighbour of ours, it's becoming a regular occurance at weekends, the lucky young bloke driving it has a permenant smirk on his face. Bravo.

Is your neighbour hot tho?

Does this count as a rarity?
