E5 99RON petrol prices

Momentum, the last time I got some a couple of weeks ago, was down to £1.45 and has been been for a while.

155 for Momentum in Basingstoke - which was at around £2 last year. Frustratingly this area seems to hold weirdly high prices compared to other towns locally. Shell. BP and Texaco all holding at around 165 for super.

Blimey that's not good. I do worry a bit, my car isn't suitable for E10. It's fine on 95RON, but it's the ethanol content that's an issue. I wonder how much longer E5 will be available for.

Shell finally have V-Power back around here (Liverpool). However, even the 'cheap' local company-owned station are very expensive atm. They're selling 95/E10 at 146.9 and V-Power E5 (finally back in stock) is at 1.649

Costco, comparatively, are at 1.369 for 95/E10 and 5ppl dearer for E5 stuff (albeit 97 RON). Asda are retailing 95/E10 at 138.9 so the Shell are very out of touch atm. Ordinarily, they're fairly competitive (within a penny or so a litre). We don't have a Tesco very locally, but 8 or so miles away they're out of M99, albeit they're always cheaper.

I'm down to my last 80 or so miles of fuel. I'm hoping my local tesco has M99 restocked.

Someone updated the PetrolPrices for that location yesterday (145.9) so hopefully I can get some. The next cheapest is 10p/litre more expensive

I was on Scotland Road last year and thought oh this is a quiet fuel station. It was only a few pence a litre more than other stations so I went in. V-Power was
20p/l more!

No wonder why it was so quiet.

I couldn't get into Costco that time. I was there for the weekend, tried them three times but the queue was almost coming out the car park.

Sometimes a hit or a miss getting Momentum at Westhill (Aberdeen) but new workplace is just round the corner so handy!

Filled up there last night at 145.9p. Was down to 30 miles range so made a decent dent in their supply.

Just for reference for others / locals. No issue with supply of Momemtum 99 round my way. Currently priced at 156.9 at The Meadows (Sandhurst / Camberley / Surrey area). Next nearest in Aldershot, Hants, 1p cheaper at 155.9.

You're not having much luck! Like me about 5-6 weeks ago. I had to go to 4 stations before I found E5.

Just filled up at my local Esso in Reading. 160/litre for Supreme E5.

I normally use Tesco on a Saturday morning when I get my click and collect.

Tesco 99 is 145.9p in Widnes and 156.9p in Formby, 20 miles between them. I work in the former, but live in the latter, saving a small fortune filling up at work rather than home.

Finally got some tonight. Paid 151.99 for Tesco 99.
