E5 99RON petrol prices
Discussion
Shell finally have V-Power back around here (Liverpool). However, even the 'cheap' local company-owned station are very expensive atm. They're selling 95/E10 at 146.9 and V-Power E5 (finally back in stock) is at 1.649 ![punch](/inc/images/punch.gif)
Costco, comparatively, are at 1.369 for 95/E10 and 5ppl dearer for E5 stuff (albeit 97 RON). Asda are retailing 95/E10 at 138.9 so the Shell are very out of touch atm. Ordinarily, they're fairly competitive (within a penny or so a litre). We don't have a Tesco very locally, but 8 or so miles away they're out of M99, albeit they're always cheaper.

I was on Scotland Road last year and thought oh this is a quiet fuel station. It was only a few pence a litre more than other stations so I went in. V-Power was ![punch](/inc/images/punch.gif)

20p/l more!
No wonder why it was so quiet.
I couldn't get into Costco that time. I was there for the weekend, tried them three times but the queue was almost coming out the car park.
