Nearly £50k for George Michael's old Range Rover, not even his most recent one?

Ludicrous. It wasn't worth £20k ten years ago and isn't remotely special, rare or a classic. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
Facelift car
Six speed manual
And Sport Convertible with hardtop
A really really nice 330 sport cab is £6995 most are auto without hardtop and that would be for 70k plus miles.
It's how much you load up the value for sub 10k miles AND manual which is the one to have.
It's got to be £15k minimum? What would you value it at?
9,000 miles in 13 years isn't a positive for me. It's basically been sitting in a garage for its whole life.
We took an E46 330 Ci Cab in as a swapper last year. 2003 car in silver with 75,000 miles and comprehensive history. Owned from new by an old boy who was wanting something easier to get in and out of. The car was in excellent condition - a couple of corners needed refurbishment and a small scuff on the bumper. Other than that it was a lovely car - the interior looked like new. We gave £2500 for it. It went to the block and sold for just over £3000.
I'll not mention the usual suspects, but insane pricing like this at modern classic/sports 'specialists' has damaged the market. We had a difficult situation recently with a customer who stormed out after we valued his leggy and poorly modified C6 RS6 at £6,000. "I've seen them advertised and that makes mine worth £20,000"
I've completely lost interest in cars at the moment. This is one the primary reasons.

I've heard someone was trying to flog a VW Camper for £80,000 at the ExCel Classic Car show this weekend...
The VW spitty market has gone batst crazy in recent months. Wish I had racked up a few on the drive when I had the chance. B.J.W said:

6k for a C6 RS6 is a bit of an insult though really, it would have to be an absolute dog to be worth 10k, let alone 6.
Are you sure you don't mean C5?
My mistake. C5 (V8) Are you sure you don't mean C5?
always thought they'd be an expensive car to run long term.
