Today? Oh, I'm sure I'll get some flaming for this one. Wrong wheel drive, tarted up Golf etc...
Not this exact car. But my girlfriend and I were wandering past a VW showroom and- in a brilliant example of why I think she's The One - she suggested that we wander inside, since I like drooling over cars and so on.
Ten minutes later, I find myself sat in the driver's seat of a red Scirocco 2.0 with a DSG gearbox. It was only parked up and the salesman was too busy with other customers to prise money out of me that day.
Just as well really. I'm saving up for a Z4 coupé that's a better car in almost any way, and it's cheaper too. I already drive an Octavia vRS so a Scirocco's going to be very similar to any other one of the Golf/Leon/A3 family.
But I had a bad attack of want. Just as well that salesman was busy...
And my girlfriend? She didn't like the lack of reversing view but she did like an Eos. I can partly see the appeal, but don't think I'll end up agreeing to that one though.
Chris Harris did a video for Drivers Republic on the 2.0 TSI w/ DSG and he liked it quite a lot.Not this exact car. Just as well I am on iPhone and can't post YouTube clips as I don't want to sway your decision.

Looks ace do it.
Not sure why the damage around the fuel filler though.
Maybe one of those tank luggage carriers may of left its mark?... Either that, or pissed up when fueling Not sure why the damage around the fuel filler though.
Would it be a relatively cheap fix?
Decent tank bags wont cause that kind of damge. If teh rest of the bike is sound i wouldn't worry about it.
If you are getting a 600 may as well look at 750s

My initial response was a classic lotus, after looking at it for a while I am thinking something Italian. enlighten me please! and yes it is gorgeous , especially in that colour with those wheels!
Fabric, you are soooo amazingly water-resistant.
Apparently when Lamborghini first showed the car, they showed the engine separately... because it wouldn't fit. They've fixed it since, obviously. The rumour is that they used a little K-Y.
OK, I'm just starting that rumour.

Oddly enough, I made a call into the Suzuki bike showroom today in York after training, and went straight to have a look at one of those new GSR750's. Very good looking bike IMO, also had a nice sit on one and it felt perfect in ride height which made it remarkably comfortable.Decent tank bags wont cause that kind of damge. Thinking of going new as one of these brand spankers are a little over 6k new with the £750 cashback offer...
Really thinking of getting one in 2 weeks time - Just have to pick the colour
Strange one..
Really strange. I'm completely obsessing about these;
Yes. A Vauxhall Zafira VXR. Not a Corsa, not an Astra, not even a Vectra. I want a whopping great blown 4-pot bus that isn't exceptionally fast, drinks a fair bit and looks like it belongs on Chatsworth estate.
I would absolutely love one of these in blue with anthracite alloys with a decent exhaust on and drive about popping and banging away. They look GOOD.
So where is the room to hand in your PH membership? I looked next to the Redbull shop and couldn't find it.
EDIT: to put my weird obsession into context I also absolutely love the looks of the S-MAX 2.5T too..

If i had a couple of kids and needed to cart st around etc... i would probably go for one of these, i dont normally like Vauxhall but with 237 bhp it is hard to ignore, and that is before we look at re map and a few other upgrades. This is just fine fine fiiine, seen it a few times lately and just can't think of a car that looks and sounds as good.

I would be looking at RS6 Avants, Q7 3.0 TDI, Range Rover (dare i say X6. )
That is coming from a guy that has a soft spot for Vauxhalls and my parents have had two (great) Zafira's.
Today
Mk1 Mazda 3 MPS.
I saw an EP3 CTR today, and just thought it was the default choice.
So, today I want a red Mk1 Mazda 3 MPS with either a re-map or BBR upgrades and just have a great sleeper.
Also, put these alloys on to finish the look off:
Lovely!
