Back to the faux-green reasons, it looks like the gravy train has been working well for Tesla, receiving millions in revenue for its non-existent battery swapping technology:

I will add that the motive power of a car doesn't matter to me; I just don't want to be ripped off and lied to whilst others get freebie handouts in the name of a political agenda.

I don't see how the limited range could possibly work for me. Nor do I buy into the utter BS spouted about the environmental benefits.

But, as for the machines themselves, no animosity whatsoever. If an electric car works for you, go ahead and use one, it's none of my business!
