I thought I was the only loser who did this...
It even finds its distant cousin parked next to it sometimes

Yes, Cliftonite likes to stalk me and post photos of my cars in the "What crappy personalised plates have you seen recently?" thread. He lives a wild, crazy life filled with excitement and adventure... And by that I mean retirement and old busses.
Buses. It's "buses".Edited by ol on Wednesday 7th January 22:14

"In 21st-century English, buses is the preferred plural of the noun bus. Busses appears occasionally, and dictionaries list it as a secondary spelling, but it’s been out of favor for over a century. This is true in all main varieties of English."I'm old school.

But it's "favour".
I have to admit I have occasionally been known to practice this strange coupling! If I have a collectors/enthusiasts type car. For example, from my current fleet I wouldn't do this with my Boxster or A1 as most people driving one just see it as a rather nice car. They usually wouldn't have interest in others cars of the same model. However, when I am in the Corrado VR6, if I see another I will often park next to it and have a look. I also know that 9 times out of 10 the owner will come back and be interested in my car, it will probably brighten their day just as much. As a rare, older specialist car it is now mainly driven by very enthusiastic owners club members.
