The January issue looks right up my street, with the Mondeo ST220 in particular, a car which has long tempted me. I still find myself looking at them on ebay. Well done.
You might be slightly disappointed Steve...it's the diesel ST ...not the V6 ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
..and yes, the TDCI has a bad reputation for big bills as it gets older, EGR Valve, Injectors, DMF etc.

A little part of me died when ford launched the diesel ST, because I've always loved the ST220 and I just thought the ST ruined things, and there's nothing more disappointing than thinking a ST220 is coming towards you only for it to be the oil burner instead.
Maybe I need to get over it though...all these years on!!

These complaints aside, the magazine itself is good. This months has the Citroen BX 16 valve, another forgotten gem which probably hasn't been featured in any other car magazine for 15-20 years!

Pleased you share a similar view to me regards the diesel ST.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Agree and I do love the magazine and look forward to reading it for stuff like the Citroen BX 16v.

Just seen this thread and thought I'd give the Readly app a go so I can read this and other mags on my phone. Unfortunately I'm either being really thick or Modern Classics isn't on Readly anymore, at least I wasn't able to find it under the automotive section. Can anyone confirm?
I've used Readly for 18 months and I've never seen Modern Classics on it. Which is a shame.s m said:
I'd better put mine in the folder next to evo #1 then ;-) NB I note there is a copy of the latter up for £99.99!
