Blah blah blah blah.......

Please point out to me where I said all BMW's were reliable ?

I'm 50 years old, I work in the motor trade, I know all bout the various timing chain, valve stem seals, and every other BMW issue.
Talk about mountains out of molehills, what a bore.
You are still calling me a liar, and THAT is 'disgusting' .......... I have already said that pampered cars will be more reliable than abused ones in my reply to the other gentlemen but you haven't read that have you ?
No, you have bashed away blindly accusing me of being a liar just because mr self titled 'lion king' peugeot blind fanboy can't bear to hear the truth.
Please just stop embarrassing yourself.
Huh, you think you're special because he called you a 'liar'? Well he called me a 'dummy' in another thread, so beat that!! laughlaughlaugh

Drove the lion into a place and poured his favorite drink into the rear tank. Pulled out my own drink and poured into the stomach. Geared the lion into action towards expressway, where I played with the pedals and gear stick, as my own part, and let the lion do his own part, to do what he knows how to do best: Fun!

My Peugeot 607 V6 parked other 607s.

Mine is the first on the right. The middle black one belongs to a Navy. His Engine is also 3.0 petrol V6 with 5-speed manual. The 3rd one (Metallic color) to a guy that grew up in Europe and bought the 607 when he came to Nigeria. His Engine is 2.2 petrol with ZF 4HP20 automatic gearbox.

Picture was taken about 3 years ago.

This is my 607 V6 petrol, in one of my journeys in the lion (about 6 hours drive) at night. Took the picture beside the highway around 11pm.

The only time I've been near a 607 it was as a passenger in a taxi on Malta in about 2004. It didn't encourage me to seek one out again.

This is me and my Peugeot 607 V6, in one of my 1,600 km road trips with the lion (Abuja to Eastern part of Nigeria), few years ago.

I stopped along the journey at a town called Otupka in Venue state to buy Fresh Palm wine. Anyone who have been to Eastern Nigeria knows how sweet this local white mine is.

On my back to Abuja from Enugu (about 600 km), on my last journey I did with my Peugeot 607 V6 to Enugu state. It was on this journey that I firmly decided to convert the transmission from auto to manual. I bought the manual Gearbox for the conversion 4 days after this trip.

I think Mr Ikenna is either a very special satirist, or just very special. I’ve not quite decided which I think most likely.

If you do a lot of long distance drive, Peugeot 607 may serve you well on that, if you choose to. The fuel tank is 80 litres. All you need is fill up the tank and the car will take you anywhere. All these pictures I shared were taken on highways and in the middle of jungles while in journeys/road trips in Nigeria with the car and the lion never let me down. The lion is really serving the purpose he came for. He has his issues, just like every other car does. But I still love the car.

The variable suspension and variable ratio power steering of Peugeot 607 V6 make traveling with the lion an exciting experience.

Absolute pleasure to read. Proper funny, the choice of car is almost irrelevant.
Yup, although I'm not offended by big Peugeots like some here. Article a good read, thread adds to it and there's even a new fad to keep us occupied.

Well, what do you want for £1000? No,I haven’t driven one but the 406 Executive- or whatever- with leather memory seats and other bells and whistles was great if second hand and cheap. Also, there is another thread going currently on gauges and dashboards- don’t posh Peugeots do that really well: oil temp, oil level, and on later ones, altitude.
