I genuinely did not know of this Alfa... or that unusual paint; formaggio fuso

Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior Zagato

I think one of those was for sale around Lincoln about three years ago. I seem to remember the back window can be opened to provide primitive air-con.

This will make me sound like I have been living under a rock but I honestly had no idea that Porsche were doing 'GTS' versions of the 911 that sit in between the standard models and GT3. Widebody, centre lock wheels, manual, RWD. Im an idiot.

They also did an Elektro version of the S123 a decade earlier. Battery packaging has come a long way - think of the weight, heat generation and recharge time....

We probably have almost as much energy carrying capacity in an average mobile phone nowadays as all those old style batteries!

Just like your average phone now has more computing power than the systems on the first space shuttles

New one for me while browsing cars in Japan as usual, the March (Micra) 12SR. Been browsings Swift Sports and Ignis Sports and spotted this.

We got the 160SR but in Japan they got the 12SR with CR12DE with ported head and the same power as the 1.6 we got. Its a pretty light thing too at around 900kg

Seemed to have a few other bits including upgraded brakes and suspension

Dont know why but there is a bit of me that really likes it, cheap and available in Japan it seems too, hah

I bet that is brilliant fun. My mate had a 160SR back in the day and it was a great handling car.

Imagine having that with stock looks, 4WD and a supercharged LS2 under the bonnet. Now that would be a sleeper )

Those look like the batteries out of a milk float.

And about the same range as well.
