Yeah, sorry to hear that just as I was sorry to hear about Modern Classics when it met its demise.
I don't think I'd subscribe to another mag again tho. It's certainly not a money thing. I just feel that having "invested" a bit of commitment to buying/supporting a magazine it's a bit deflating to find out again that it has come and gone from a thread on a forum or a Facebook post rather than some more formal way (yeah, I appreciate that will come along later) and will stick to just picking and choosing from whatever is on the shelf at WH Smiths or the like.

That's a shame the first issue is the last, I thought it was great. Had a sort of Superclassics feel to it though and that only lasted 4 issues and that was in the mid 90s when print was king. I still have all four.
That's twice you've sort of referred to an alternative now, I'd be happy for the balance of my sub to go to a new publication as long as it's not about electric cars, I couldn't swallow that no matter how quick they are.

Reading between the lines perhaps the "sales" were not the issue - I really enjoyed the first issue and had subscribed for the year and I'm disappointed not to see issue two.I still want to enjoy paper copies rather than read on line copy but with the demise of Motorpunk (subscribed and loved it - really good mix of content) and now Strada the alternatives are very limited - Currently trying Road Rat but it's not hitting the spot content wise (not sure why either)

An email – I am told – will be sent later this week with two options, one of which will be a refund. I can't go into it anymore than that.I understand the frustration – I truly do – but I can't say much more.

Was really looking forward to the next issue. A real shame because printed magazines are so much more enjoyable. Gives proper time out from staring at a screen all day.
Magazines tend to be a more in depth, detailed and longer read. Online stuff is designed to keep your attention just long enough before the next useless notification pops up for a social media app.

I was subscribed to Modern Classics and Strada and it is really sad to see how those went.
As others have said I also much prefer an actual magazine to hold, I've not adapted all that well to digital yet.

Just ordered the first edition of Classic Retro Modern, I had subscribed to Strada and really enjoyed the first issue, will see what this new one is like before committing to a subscription - does seem much lower priced than other recent publications (Road Rat and Pit Stop)
I quite enjoyed the first edition of Classic Retro Modern - second edition looks more interesting for me personally
