I just did... and your point is?
He does not agree that the Subaru you posted is a decently modified car. I think that is his point.

Perhaps it is mainly because he hates the colour green?

Still, ignoring that, it is a nice bit of kit.

IMO of course. IMO...

shoddy wheels aside i think that RX7 is very nicely done. doesn;t look like 'a body kit' to me. it looks like a a quality low volume car.

obviously it looks undrivable on a UK B road but if one were building some sort of track day car that would be ace.

i know it's not what the mazda people would want to hear but that car with better wheels (satin black 5 spoke competion-type) and an LS7..ooh!

The green wheels are a little questionable, and a source for debate, however their design suits the car perfectly. I'm not a massive scooby fan normally, however that car looks awesome. Love it!

Worth noting that a camera-on-the-ground-rear-three-quarter shot of cars always looks good.

i like the green wheels.

mind you if i were going for a chav-mobile (and i am very tempted at the moment!) i'd go subaru blue and get the gold wheels refurbed in the fiesta metallic raspberry colour. (!)

______

i think i have been hit over the head but i like that TT too. i think if it were a tin top that would be very nice. i probably wouldn't have it myself but it's nicely done.

one thing i would add though is that on something like a subaru track day car green wheels are a bit like a footballist wearing white boots... you'd better be good! wink

yes

I have contemplated buying a 2nd set of standard rims for my car to fit a set of 888s to for trackdays only, and I've really got a bit of a fetish for the orange wheels on a black car thang.

-1, if there is such a thing. Apart from the wheels that RX7 is gorgeous.

Quite difficult to improve on the basic RX7 shape underneath all that stuff IMO.

Surely must win the prize for widest front tyres in the world too biggrin

That restyled RX7 is hideous - not in the slightest bit cohesive and an unmolested one is one of the best looking sports cars ever made.

If someone posted a picture of that car, and said it was a standard low volume sports car (TVR, Noble etc.) - everyone would say it looks great.
