It's all pretty tragic but that Anishvin bloke is awful. The way he pedals his trading academy to the gullible yoof is shocking.
Exactly. It’s a really scummy little industry full of aholes.
I am no TGE/Archie fan but if this kind of stuff isn’t “mugging off kids” as the ever eloquent Yianni puts it I really don’t know what is.

There’s a big difference between winding people up and doing click bait and straight up scamming people out of money.
Personally like the TGE videos and thought the prank was just funny.
Yeah, watched both of them last night out if intrigue, who is it actually hurting? Ok, maybe they’re not the most amazing car videos, but that’s not the point of them. Just a couple of mates having a laugh with a tiny bit of car content thrown in. Probably not aimed at typical PH demographic (not much is let’s be honest, maybe carfection is the most PH YouTube channel?)Personally like the TGE videos and thought the prank was just funny.

His defence if hilarious. He doesn´t post pictures of cash so it can´t be a scam.He also said that he watches a documentary with his class where normal people trade for a week and actually perform better than the professionals.
The interesting thing about this is the supervisor is a guy named Anton Kreil who founded the Institute of Trading after that. Our beloved Trading and Property Investment expert Anish is promoting a competitor.
Here´s a very long video of Anton on Trading "Educators" like out mate Anish.

Does anyone watch that Doug DeMuro guys videos? They get massive numbers of views in a short amount of time but something about the videos are just so funny to me, the low quality production and quirky geekiness of Doug DeMuro, its like one of those 90s DIY car salesman commercials.
Maybe its actually a self-aware satire or something, I dunno
Yep, I love Doug's videos. All the daft geeky utterly useless info that somehow is fascinating. He's getting access to some proper swanky stuff these days but its some of the weird old stuff that's most intriguing.Maybe its actually a self-aware satire or something, I dunno
Also, the format is exactly the same every single time, down to the exact wording he uses on every single video. There's only so many 'quirks and features' that I can stomach. Also, a lot of the time, he is that accurate when claiming certain features don't exist on other cars etc...
Dougs footage is formulaic but I think that's just the way it is - and it works. You know what you're getting into from the outset, and I still enjoy discovering some of the interesting quirks and features pointed out (although the odd one is a little obvious / pointless). I particularly like the older / more legendary cars he reviews and drives. He seems like a normal person, albeit a geeky normal person - far more down to earth than some of the others mentioned recently.
Harry is a bit special; footage comes across as more amateurish than Doug but I love his vast knowledge, his clear passion and his real-life experiences. Plus, and it's a big plus for me, there is no drama or clickbait to be had with these two.

Good call. IMO the most enjoyable and authentic one man car vlog out there.
The content Harry creates, while not as frequent as others, is the stuff I really look forward to when it pops up on notification. His road trips split over a couple of episodes are fantastic (Testarossa, Countach, Rolls Royce - all brilliant, all worth a watch).Meanwhile, and in the real world - I've been keeping up with Gordon Murray's escort build. It's a great series, highly recommended.

Had a look at the pale blue Alfa and the Chevette at Retro Rides Goodwood. Absolutely beautiful and terrific quality work. You can keep your Lambo, Ferrari etc, I'd have that Alfa or the Manta 400.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSiG7oNXC6w
Surprised by how little Jay Leno’s Garage gets mentioned, but I suppose this is a ‘are you tubers scammers’ rather than ‘youtubers that I like’ thread.
However, Jay Leno has made his millions, and with his showbiz background the vids are ‘nicely done’ to coin one of his often used phrases, but he still conveys a feeling he does the YouTube stuff to share with other petrol heads, not ‘fans’.
A wide range of vehicles, some his, some friends, but he also shows ordinary folk with just great cars.
Like Harry’s Garage he doesn’t ‘need’ the views or revenue. I guess that’s a great place to be and makes for relaxed presentation.
I also enjoy Mighty Car Mods for just showing things without drama, ‘pranks’ etc etc
There is good stuff/content out there.
