Good stuff. Seems a bit weird to announce that funding has been secured, and a fair bit of it if the timeline is to be held, without giving telling us who.
I'm guessing it's a marketing decision to hold off until new collateral with updated sponsor logos etc. can be readied, but a lot of outlets will just take today's release and use existing images etc. anyway. When the new funder(s) are revealed there might not be as big a media splash.

Very nice "insight" of the facility. Thanks for the post, but jeez after two months without one I was beginning to think there was a fault with the website.
So what's going on now Insight? Is any work being done on the car?
It's been SORNed, and is parked outside a dodgy estate under a (very long) car cover. So what's going on now Insight? Is any work being done on the car?
Seriously, I hope you sort out the finance and get back on track soon.
At long last it looks like I may be on my way back to Bloodhound. The build team are partially back as from this week, stripping the car in preparation for final build.
Hoping to be starting a day a week from next week, ramping up to full time hopefully during October, to ensure a smooth exit from Williams as I really don't want to go burning bridges here.

Awesome news - so much time effort and support on this. My boys are 8 and 7 and have the bloodhound embedded into them like the red arrows.......we will be there at the end of the runway at Newquay when she runs!!!!!!Hoping to be starting a day a week from next week, ramping up to full time hopefully during October, to ensure a smooth exit from Williams as I really don't want to go burning bridges here.

Why are stripping it for final build? I sort of assumed it had been built, or was that more of a mock up?Hoping to be starting a day a week from next week, ramping up to full time hopefully during October, to ensure a smooth exit from Williams as I really don't want to go burning bridges here.

There is a nice Bloodhound exhibit in the museum of cornwall http://www.royalcornwallmuseum.org.uk/
I built a car with my daughter for the speed test thing, managed FTD with 6 secs flat for the 10m track.
Not bad for lego kinex
