I saw something very similar in Battersea Park in London a couple of years ago. Giant slicks on the rear and twin turbos, gently sauntering around looking for a car park. hehecool
Are you sure it was turbos? Marc regularly cruises into London..
I'm not sure, now that you ask! For some reason my memory has turbos etched in. I seem to remember the car I saw wasn't loud - either exhaust noise or the supercharger whine I was listening out for - and when I heard a bit of throttle it sounded a bit 'whooshie' like a turbo setup.

I also had a memory of turbos being visible. Maybe they were peaking through holes in the bonnet? Or maybe I just dreamt that later on. hehe

Pro chargers can sound a bit turbo like as they are (from memory) a centrifugal type supercharger rather than a roots/screw type smile

The wheels on this Datsun 510 don't really do it for me, but the rest looks yum:

^Have you seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwhwwrkYMpc (Datsun 510 at Jay Leno's Garage).

Old school Japanese cars are cool, I'd lose a body part for a Skyline GT-R Hakosuka smile

A friend of mines Mk2 Golf with a 1.8 20VT engine swap.

Why are the rear wheels wider on a FWD car? Id prefer it with all of the Porsche tat removed.

Still waiting...

The ONLY 'bodykits' I can bear are the ones some cars get 'as standard' - most Imprezas have what would count as a bodykit (wider front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a spoiler) from the factory - as do most hot hatches and even BMW Sport models and so on.

Otherwise I'm in the "they're all turds" category.

Thing is that mr2 pictured isn't modified its a genuine factory model. A friend and his dad have both got one. If my memory is right the are only 3 genuine ones in the uk

Its just for aesthetic reasons as many think it looks better.

I've never really liked the older Escorts but that for me is pure perfection

Hate the external rad (but then it does have 608bhp scratchchin) and not so keen on the green, but the rest is smokin...
