RE: Nissan Juke NISMO RS launched
Discussion
Living ten minutes away from the factory, I've found the looks improve with familiarity. Plus, that's all subjective anyway.
Drove the 2WD Juke Nismo last year. Pretty good fun, as long as you don't expect it to be like a regular hot-hatch.
Definitely a bit of a left-field choice of car though, especially with the RS at £22k. Shame they're still lumbering the 4WD one with the CVT auto' box too.

I agree, fkin cant stand the look of this piece of st. Gave it a 1, only decent thing is the engine.
And why another manufacturer gone to use the RS moniker, fk sake cant they just use something different. Hot Nissans were either ZX, GTR or GTI.
The only real RS company imo is Ford.

You'd only buy one if you had no brain, look at it!

I do understand the ugly thing. When I got rid of the last Subaru I didn't want a car that was the same as all the other cars in the car park. So while I was waiting for Subaru to build something I actually wanted I got a Juke Nismo. Without the LSD that you get with the RS it is hopeless, since 220 bhp through the fronts overwhelms the tyres (mine is tweaked). The ContiSport 5's last 5000 miles, I've swapped them front to back and they are all shot at 12k miles.
Odd that. You got 5K and swapped them around. So you put the rear tyres which had light wear on them on the front and got 40% more miles out of them? You had a seismic shift in your driving attitude.

Probably true. Having seen the way they were wearing at 5k I swapped them, and I was more sympathetic after that... You got 5K and swapped them around. The missus really likes these and for what they are they're a pretty good package. In grey they looks pretty good but I think they could do with being a lot more squat. I agree that NISMO is being diluted but then again NISMO was never a factor in the UK anyway.
The NISMO Pulsar could be great though so maybe that's the Nissan hatch worth waiting for.

I like it, but I also like the bubble wrap door Citroen Cactus as well
I have a friend who bought the old Nismo for his wife, and he swears by it. Terrible interior space for the size of the car though.
The terrible interior space and small boot (along with the looks) are the main reason, dispite my wife pestering me, we didn't buy a mark 1 Puke.I have a friend who bought the old Nismo for his wife, and he swears by it. Terrible interior space for the size of the car though.
I gather the boot is now 50 litres larger now - which still doesn't make it any more attractive.
I think EVO magazine quite liked it in an oddball hatch kind of way, so this new one should be a bit of a laugh.
