Are these cars also available with a nice design?

It might be brilliant in technological terms but why they so very often save on the design side. It looks to me like a 20 year old kitcar. What a shame...

If Ferrari reissued the F40 there would be queues round the block for them, but people criticise Noble for offering a similar package - albeit without Pininfarina's styling. Cue case study in the power of brands.

On the subject of being kit car like (ok this doesn't apply to the F40) but a look at the chassis construction of a lot of now highly sought after Ferrari's is instructive in that regard.

Where Noble are perhaps in a more difficult space commercially is that a lot of F40s were probably bought by people who were rich first, series Ferrari owners second, and driving enthusiasts third. Noble is going to be dependent on that order being reversed and on shifting buyers out of established supercars.

And... they have to do it when the automotive competition is going to win the lap time battle due to technology - something that wasn't the case in the F40 era.

Anyway, I applaud them for trying.

It looked brilliant in the flesh and the door mirror only came off due to the driver having a decent go at a time. Although that was on Saturday, and the article says Friday, maybe it just likes to fall off.
How the hell does that excuse the mirror falling off. "yes it's a supercar sir, but if you drive it quicly it will fall apart".

It is awesome, I would definitely have one. Just a shame I don't have the money!

I do wish them the best of luck with it though.

I don't know too much about the Noble but it was my understanding that these cars used to offer equivalent or supercar performance for far less than their rival. The pricer a car get the more limited the market becomes. but again they only need to sell very, very few cars so that may be the reason also carbon fiber can't be cheap

That's lucky 'cos it's difficult to see a long queue of customers.

I can think of a fleet of cars I'd rather have than this.

I love these things, proper old school supercar imo. No silly driving aids, just a well balanced chassis and a big bang turbo. Noble took there inspiration from the F40 and it shows. Whats more evo (who have actually driven one) love it, with many of the testers saying they would take one over the MP4-12C.

Totally totally different car though. 12C/458 are very technical. The M600 is very raw, brutal and even has a manual gearbox!
I'd rather spend £100k on a 600bhp Superformance GT40 - raw, brutal, and oh so gorgeous and then spend the change on a 997 GT3RS:

I doubt if it just 'fell off'...

I salute Noble for making this car a reality.

No gimmicks, just a raw driving machine with insane levels of performance.

Whats not to like?!

Been very well received by the motoring press.

I would have one, though its a little beyond budget at the moment.

By about £200k.

Pretty sure i designed this car when i was about 12 with a biro and ruler. It is incredibly unimaginative to look at and will date incredibly quickly, IMO.

whilst I salute their effort on what is undoubtably a capable machine, it is far too kit car for me, even at half the price unfortunately.

White followed closely by 'baby blue' is its best colour IMO:
