A friend of mine spent the night there in his company Avensis, engine idling and A/C on (after parking it in a ditch by the N138, on its side, on the way down).

Still better than a tent!

Not a normal sort of 'thread' car but it appeals to me.

Very dated but so is an appearance by H.Locklear in an old episode of T.J.Hooker.

The concept of unleashing this across mainland, Western Europe is unbearable.
Amen.

What an appalling first post for the new thread frown
If it helps I did have a most spirited drive in the Evora S for an hour this morning and will be piloting a rather lovely 911 later.

Better?

I've just ambled merrily up the M40 to Warwickshire for a wedding this afternoon.

The ability of this V8 to accrue velocity is addictive.

Slightly worryingly, the tyre pressure sensor came on just as I was approaching journey's end. Appears to be a false alarm, but both sphincter and wallet clenched for a minute or two.

In other matters, Norfolk's barnstormer captured nicely on the 4Star facebook page...

No.

Some even have leather on the normally wooden bits...

On the subject of everyone's favourite presenters - how about this, for a slice of thin rimmed classicism?

Like the look of it but how does/would it till? I mean really?

I heartily recommend it, Ollstein.

It's surprising just how charming a well rounded, albeit gruff, n/a AMG projectile can be.

The E class hearse, featured above, appears to be about as superb as the breed became (Hammers, excepted.)

On the subject of which...LadyV8 and I have just been out looking at one of these

Can anyone offer an informed view (for the avoidance of doubt, at a bare minimum, you've actually driven one!) regarding the capabilities or otherwise of such an automobile?

I know this is reaching a little but I'll wager a vat of Loon's finest Nunbleu 83 that this utter peach has more in the way of ethereal wonder than even his original, vinyl pressings of N K Cole & The Swingers with The Spatz Philharmonic ft. Bo Didley when they came together to write the theme tune for the launch of Ford's Edsel.
