Bet mine's the saddest reply yet:

I've asked for a set of OEM car mats - the dealer put new but cheap mats in when I bought my CLK in Feb & now they fold up & get trapped under the pedals.

Told the Missus it's a health & safety issue whistle

Out of nothing more than curiosity, would you get through an MOT with that screen on? Always wondered how they treat the aero screens on caterfields, presume they don't class them as a windscreen, just a random plastic appendage?

I haven't heard of any problems... I don't think you need a windscreen, but if fitted must meet the specs.

There are lots of things I'd like to get for my stag but I doubt anyone will buy me them for christmas (mostly trim bits that are rather expensive)

Don't panic, you're not alone. I asked Miss Robsco to get me some mats made up to proper OEM specification by the ex-TVR trimmers in Blackpool for Xmas. She refused to spend her money on "that scrapheap". So I ended up buying them myself. frown

Hopefully Santa is bringing me some of those retro metal signs (Shell, Ferodo, Champion Spark Plugs, etc) to cheer up my garage...
That's a brilliant idea!!! They'd look awesome in my scalextric room!!

Where would Santa get those? Obviously only if I was good enough!

Well, if the Elves are too busy to make them in their workshop wink Santa could have a look on eBay under something like 'automobilia'...

My boss at work has offered a garage to put my Mini in while it's being re-fitted with a VTEC. Apart from that, think I'm just getting some money towards the conversion - did get gifted a set of winter tyres and wheels, though!

I bought the TVR on ebay on xmas day 3 years ago as a present to myself... I'd had it inspected and stuff, just so happened the auction ended on the 25th.
This year, after a pleasant chat with the accountant who was bearing positive news, I'm very close to scratching the classic Fiat 500 itch....

Not getting anything i think, but bought my sister a full service kit for xmas. Cant wait to see the look on her face as she unwraps spark plugs, filters etc.

That'll teach her for not servicing a car she has a bank loan on for the last 2 years!! Grrrrr! mad

She thinks an MOT is proof her car needs nothing doing to it and wont be told otherwise.
