Has the author actually ever been here or is he basing this on a Clarkson observation?

I think the author is the seller or has some affiliates to them. This EVO has been up for sale for a few years now, I know, I look at Lancia everyday (I own one) so am interested in prices and have laughed at the fact they want 85k for a car that doesn't exist. Lancia never made an Evo 3. The last versions they made were the dealer edition, 180 made to go to each Lancia dealer in 1995, burgundy metallic and very rare now (there is one in the classifieds for circa 24k) and the final edition. Never a Evo 3.

A totally blinding car no less, a one off, yes. 85k, no.

And it may well need anothre 85k spending on it one you start using it smile Integrale owners and bill payers will know my reasoning.

People talk about Funfs as wallet rapers and bork-tastic...an M5 has got nothing on an Integrale when it comes to ability to burn your cash.

I have no idea what you're on about...;)

The electrics on my 16v were perfect! Well by the time I came to sell it, they were...

Drivers seat bolster looks burst in the photos not the best way to display a car for £85k!
Will never sell at that price.

What a load of balls - yes they are very nice cars - but loads of Evo 2's and 3's about and they are pretty all of a muchness in standard cooking format. Hardly anything to get excited about in std form now.

Met a Polish guy last month rebuilding one with 450bhp - now that IS interesting.
No Jon there are not loads of Evo 3s about. There are not even loads of Evo 2s about, they didnt build that many.

It is quite easy to get excited about them in standard form...they are invariaby at their best them. Its when ppl start fking with them that quite often things go pearshaped because they have done the job half cocked. If you are going to fettle an Integrale, then fettle the whole car otherwise it will soon start to show.
Cool - gotcha. Mind they all seem similar once they had the serious flares (maybe that is what I mean't). £85k is a joke for something that rolled off a mass produced production line. Owning something properly limited run this type of thing come across as just Balls!

I have to say, I find the term 'track slag' utterly loathsome, and an unwelcome left over from the 'Fast Car' days.

Please PH, don't use this in your articles! you are better than this...

I find that colour so very un-sporty!
For a football-player? Or the Spice Girls?

And the price! A lot for a lot of Italian trouble?

Disagree. Mine is 16 years old and feels brand new, costs about £250 per year and has done for the last 10 years. So long as you find a proper Lancia garage and have it done properly, they will soldier on a lot quicker and with more poise than anything else on the road. Infact my XJR is costing more each year than the Lancia...

Guy I bought an fia cage off of recently had a stunning condition on in his garage - would be a nice everyday car.

Definitely one for the dream garage... even at £85k I would!

My cousin sold his Evo 1 Giallo a couple of months ago, will never forget my drive in that car, despite its age it was like nothing else I'd driven - so involving with nothing to intervene but my own inputs...

Love them...bow

you would have to live in a big mansion where men in white jackets serve your food to pay £85k for that., you could have a Bentley GT, sierra and Escort coswoth, and a brand new A4 sline .and a good holiday,

That is nice - I would rather have that one than the purple evo 3

I got 2 drives in Integrales. I have owned and driven faster and more exotic cars [sadly just driven exotic stuff not owned] and the Integrale still amazed me. It just felt special. And the looks great inside and out - the total old school interior is cool as f. And it actually felt fast whereas I was expecting it to feel slow, as its performance figure aren’t amazing compared to modern stuff. And the handling was great, it felt like you could throw it into any corner at any speed, which the owner of the car did the whole time, 4 wheels drifts ét all... great cars
