Seriously, is that what PH has come too? FFS.
Indeed. Spelling standards are simply appalling aren't they?

Why stop at a 'drink driving' day?

We need to consolidate all these ideas into a week long orgy of anarchy and destruction.

Just read the article about France making carrying breathalysers compulsory. What if there was a designated day every month that was well publicised and drink driving was allowed? Surely it would be fair on all the other none drink drivers who get around 30 days a month safe driving to allow those who wish to drive while slightly drunk to have a day on the roads, we do live in a fair, tolerant society after all and it would do wonders for the rural pub trade. I'm talking a similar attitude to Germanys view on speeding, ie its OK to have 5 pints over a few hours and drive home but not to have 15 pints of Stella, unless it was just round the corner, officer!
You're a brainwrong

Strictly speaking, the spelling is correct, it was the predictive grammar that let me down on my small screen.

Anyhoooo, this drink driving day? wink

I don't know what's more stupid. Formulating the idea in the first place or even bothering to post it on here.

What an utterly utterly moronic idea.

Why dont we have a day where a eurofighter drops a 2000lb bomb entirely at random from 37000 feet anywhere it likes.
I nominate Crostonian's house as the first random target.

Terrible, terrible idea to even post originally, but why were you quoting for later? Is it so your mates can come along and mock him as well? Pretty pointless really.

It could work. Flashing primary colour light on your car and a max speed of 20. Why the fk not?

drink
This is a more reasonable reply. I would never drive over the limit for fear of getting caught but am fairly sure I could have a good crack at it whilst way over the limit especially at 20mph. As cars get more driving aids it should be possible to limit speed when pissed to make it safe-ish

No, but perhaps pubs should employ drivers to take the tanked up motorist home, for the cost of a taxi ride back and a small tip? In the future I like to imagine an auto-pilot mode that will guide us all home home (wasted biggrin )

So if you pulled out at 20mph from a junction, in front of a motorcycle doing 60mph, is that safe-ish?

You 'tard.

Not once a month but just once, couple of hours one very early morning, love to have a go at drink driving and see whether I could do it smile
The results could be used to put people off doing it.
It wasn't that many years ago that there were no drink driving rules ?

I lived in a small town in Indiana for a while. After 8pm it was a safe assumption that everyone driving was pissed, so everyone left loads of room for all the weaving and we all slowed the fk down.

Seemed to work, apart from all the crashes.
