Evora is single wiper too, as is the Europa, VX220 and Tesla Roadster.

Maybe the Citroen Visa (as well as the other Citroen mentioned so far), but I'm not sure, it's been a while and I refuse to google for a picture.

On a similar note, what's with these retarded wipers that work backwards? I was in someone's Peugeot the other day and it had them, the wipers started in the middle and wiped to each of the A pillars. Totally retarded as it left all the middle and top centre of the screen unwiped. It was like someone had hooked up the passenger side wiper the wrong way round. hehe

Single wipers/wipers working to the A pillar/Renault wipers into the corners are to save money on cars which are sold in both left and right hand drive forms.

Means only one lot of parts need to be produced regardless of the market it is going to.

When I was 18 (13 years ago frown) I had a Mk2 Polo which I grafted the single wiper mechanism from a Mk1 Scirroco onto, I had to lengthen the linkage to make it fit though; one day during some particularly heavy rain my lengthened linkage snapped so I swapped back to the OE 2 wiper setup, not had a car with a single wiper since.

...anyway, a Mk1 Scirocco with one wiper smile

W124 has to win this surely? The wiper bobs up and down at the edges of the screen to maximise the wipe area.

It's been used on quite a few Mercs over the years, also used on the koenigsegg.

I always liked the look of single wipers. As seen on touring cars of the 90s, and I'm sure some Mercs had them. Where did they go? Does anything use them now?

And I don't mean Vauxhall Novas with one removed(which I may or may not have done at one time hehe )

@
Lotus on all current models.
