Hmmm, am I wrong to like this?

Yeah, after I did a bit of research I found a couple of folk saying he had one, if that's not a commendation I don't know what is!
Hilux and the nissan have always appealed but the speed just isn't there for me. On that note though, instead of Top Gear fannying around with the nonsense they are right now. How bout a racing pickup challenge? I'd love to see Jezza et al blatting around in shedmade pickup track stars.
Yeah the one thing that the Hilux and Nissan 1400 have in common is they aren't quick That was an inside joke with Pints, actually. Those were two popular bakkies in South Africa, chances are Pints will have a nostalgic connection with one or the other.Hilux and the nissan have always appealed but the speed just isn't there for me. I don't think you'd go wrong with the Syclone. It's a pickup so who cares what it's like around corners? High Gs will only leave lawnmower shaped dents in the rear fenders

Aye, that I do. Spent many hours watching the bottom of 1400s fall off. And I recall taking my boss' Hilux over a set of speed bumps a bit too enthusiastically. The next thing I see in my rear-view mirror is the spare wheel bouncing in the direction of the beach.

What a sound that makes! Love hearing the turbo spool up.I'd love to be able to afford one, this thread was mainly just to see if I was mad for liking it. Luckily enough it seems as if I'm not the only one

That reminds me of the time my boss sent me, in his company Sentra, to pick something up. On the way back I yumped it, the landing was particularly loud, and the engine seemed much louder from that point back to the office. A few days later, he sends me out in his company Sentra to pick up a new exhaust centre section
Ah... the Sentra.I'm off to the SA forum to start a thread there. This one has been derailed enough.
