I ran one of these (but the W108 short wheel-base version) for a while as a second car, used it for going to work on the weekends. V8 was pretty reliable once I'd sorted a few issues, it had PAS, disc brakes all-round, electric windows and sunroof, handled ok for something the size of a small house and kept up ok with London traffic. It got about 16-18mpg, and best of all turned a lot of attractive women's heads... Running one of these you need to be handy with a spanner or know a good specialist and have deep pockets.
