Bugger knows what they fixed it to, there's not much that's structural back there.

I can't say I've ever noticed any Picantos towing, but can see it may be useful to tow a small trailer with garden waste or a large bag of compost occasionaly. Keeps rubbish out of the car too.
This sort of thing:
Or indeed increase the amount of load space from "fk all" to "some" hehe

Saw a 1 litre Micra (K11 bubble, or MkII for the traditionalists) with a tow bar in Sweden.

No pic sadly, but I have seen a Lancia Beta Spider being used to launch a boat from a trailer (in 2010!). I have no idea how it's been used like that and not disintegrated into a small pile of rust...

thought the whole car was designed to save weight by rusting and falling part whilst moving.

That maybe true but some of us have managed to stop the rust and carry on as usual.

I wish....it would probably be quicker scratchchin. Anyway, I love her, and after I re-wire her (yeah yeah ha ha) she will be even more fun.

any how I stop poking fun at your car as two cars I would love would probably need just as much car and attention to make them ship shape.... got pictures of the car as I like the old betas, just a shame they are so prone to rot.

Lamborghini Countach, in a run down showroom is southern Ireland, many years ago. Gathering dust, and needing a lot of TLC, we were told it was used to tow a boat at one stage.

I was young and can't remember exactly where it was, but I'd love to find out what happened to it.

I didn't think you could legally tow in the UK with an Elise, as there are no Type Approved towbars available?

I found a few,

To be fair there is a tow bar on my A8 in the first picture, just to keep this thread on track hehe
