Other than the name, I think you'll find it's hard to fault! Does what it says on the tin.

FWIW I would have gone for a Nissan Pathfinder.

If you are very patient, willing to throw money at looking after it and want something rather cool, get a Defender 110 County or XS. All have seven seats and puke proof interiors. They are a labour of love though, even brand new.

You forgot to add, have a good chiropractor, ear defenders, plenty of spare time and love of agricultural machinery. I love Defenders but suggesting one over a modern MPV is not really a good suggestion for most people.

He bought a Sharan, not a bad choice, the new one anyway, we had the old one and it was ok,but the Galaxy was a revelation in comparison, ok, it isnt cool in any way but its done its job well, it is even quite good fun to hustle through the bends where the old one was anything but. A lot of people turn their noses up at them as they are a bit "Addison Lee", a bit Airport Taxi and not premium enough, hence the number of Q7's and the like, which are to be fair, nicer but the Galaxy does a really good job and manages to be a lot cheaper to run.
